A dangerous TikTok trend is circulating that encourages students to create electrical short circuits in Chromebooks by inserting objects into the USB port. This can cause sparks or puncture the lithium battery, creating a serious fire hazard. Students and parents should be aware that participation in this trend or any other intentional destruction will result in severe consequences, including but not limited to the actions listed below:
• Replacement cost
• Loss of technology use
• ISS or DAEP
Please talk to your student about the importance of the appropriate use of our district technology resources and the consequences of their actions.

April Fools’ Day fun in 6th grade with the students! Mrs. Smith read a fake passage to her students about a bird. The passage told the kids how you can call the birds to you by yelling the birds name with a marshmallow held above their heads. Looks like they all enjoyed it! 🐦📕
