Today we celebrate the ones who get our students to and from school safely every single day — our incredible bus drivers! 🚌💙
Rain or shine, early mornings and late afternoons, they show up with dedication, patience, and care for every rider on their route.
Thank you for the miles you drive, the smiles you share, and the role you play in making each school day possible. We appreciate you today and every day!

We are so excited to celebrate an incredible milestone for our Junior High campus! 🎉

We look forward to officially welcoming them into NJHS next week and seeing the positive impact they will continue to make on our school and community. 💙

Learning + competition = the perfect combo! 🎉
Last Wednesday, students in Schilling's class tackled 15 review questions, earning a clue for every correct answer. Once they collected all 15 clues, the real challenge began—unscrambling the letters to solve the riddle.
Let’s just say…it got VERY competitive in the best way! 🔥
And the final answer?
“What’s your thesis?” 💡
We love seeing our students engaged, thinking critically, and having fun while learning!

Mrs. Dunbar’s 8th grade math class has been in full STAAR review mode—inside and outside the classroom! 📚☀️✏️
During class time, these students have taken their learning outdoors, working hard to review, collaborate, and sharpen their skills in a new environment. Their focus and effort have been on full display, and it’s exciting to see them so engaged and determined to succeed!
We are proud of their dedication as they get STAAR ready! 💪

Can you escape the wave? 🌊🧩 Ms. Chreene’s 8th Grade Science students dove into a digital escape room to ID parts of transverse waves and crack puzzles to get out. Huge shoutout to the teams who escaped — you rocked it! 🎉 To the “permanently pending” crews: you gave it your all — next time will be epic.

Want a classroom game that builds teamwork and laughter? Mrs. Schilling's class played "Back to the Board" this week: groups answer questions, then coach a teammate (who can’t see the board) to guess the right word to score points. Big smiles, louder voices, and way more teamwork than bingo! 👀➡️🗣️✨

Big news, Rustler Nation! 🎉✨ We’re proud to announce the 5th Six Rustler All‑Star students at Edna Junior High School — shining examples of hard work and leadership!

Our 8th graders in Mrs. Freeland’s class are bringing the energy while getting STAAR-ready! 💥📚
Review looked a little different… a full-on STAAR Slapdown game where students had to think fast, stay focused, and show what they know! You could feel the excitement as they competed, collaborated, and sharpened their skills all at the same time.
Learning + fun = a winning combination! We are so proud of the hard work and determination these students are showing as they prepare for success. 👏🔥

Guess what happened in Mrs. Long’s 8th grade math class yesterday? 🎉 The students played "Deal or No Deal" while practicing Lateral and Total Surface Area — teamwork, strategy, and lots of math talk! 🧮✨
